Systems Engineer (Active TS Clearance Required prior to application)
D A LABS is currently looking for a talented systems engineer to work on our FBI ESOC program. The ESOC is responsible for FBI cyber defense. Beyond the day to day duties as a systems engineer a candidate will be exposed to some of the premier security tools in use to protect the FBI information technology.
The job location is the FBI Hoover Building at 935 Pennsylvania Ave NW and is in the enterprise security operations unit (ESOC). This unit was created based on the recommendations of the Webster commission after Bob Hansenn was found spying on the FBI. The ESOC mission is to protect the FBI enterprise from threats internal and external. We are currently looking for a systems engineer to maintain our virtualized windows environment.
Duties include primarily maintaining Linux hosts. A significant plus for expertice in maintenance of Windows hosts, VMware, Vsphere, Site Recovery Manager, Symantec NetBackup clients, Cisco devices.
There is a requirement of Top Secret clearance and a counter intelligence polygraph after hire. Core hours for this position are 9:00 - 16:00 each day.
Active Top Secret clearance required.
