Advertised Salary:

Minimum $30,207 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

BA or BS in Biological or related sciences is required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least one year research experience preferred.
Experience in clinical trials is preferred.



Position Summary:

The Department of Ophthalmology, Fundus Photograph Reading Center (FPRC) seeks a collaborative individual to manage organization of clinical research studies. The incumbent will be responsible for initiating multiple ophthalmic clinical research trials establishing an audit trail compliant with FPRC SOPs, UW, FDA and NIH regulations. In addition, monitoring of workload, backlogs and providing status updates to both the clients and FPRC staff is also required.



Additional Information:

This is a terminal position expected to last one year from appointment date, with a possibility of extension of up to an additional year, and the possibility of a change to Fixed Term Renewable status if warranted and funding available.

Preference for candidates with strong analytical and writing skills plus ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically in written and verbal forms with research sponsors, faculty, researchers and staff at all levels
