Job Description
Serves as administrative coordinator to the Office of Special Events including the director, assistant director/President's House manager and program coordinators. Provides administrative assistance to the First Lady as needed. Oversees communications for the Office of Special Events in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares accurate and detailed reports, processes and creates office forms, maintains and distributes office and event supply inventory, oversees petty cash expenditures and compiles budget reports as needed. Coordinates and assists with preparation of mailings and maintains databases of event responses. Assists with duties and logistics as they relate to the implementation and follow-up of events.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management, administrative services or related field; or equivalency.


Preferred Qualifications
Prefer a degree in Hospitality, Public Relations, Business, Marketing or related fields. Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Access, Adobe InDesign, Live 25 calendar system and PeopleSoft accounting system preferred.
