University of North Texas Health Science Center - Accreditation and Assessment Specialist
The Office of Organization Excellence Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire an Accreditation and Assessment Specialist to join our team. Function as a professional specialist with responsibility for specialty areas required for the development, implementation and analysis of educational accreditation, assessment, accountability and/or evaluation of data, systems, programs, or processes. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:* Works collaboratively with the Executive Director of Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness to establish and adhere to a timeline for completion of required SACSCOC reports.* Maintains a current working knowledge of SACSCOC policies, guidelines, and requirements.* Provides support for SACSCOC-related committees and work groups.* Assists in establishing effective processes and procedures for development of responses to SACSCOC standards and requirements.* Assists in the preparation of printed and electronic materials required for SACSCOC accreditation documents.* Collaborates with other institutional representatives to plan and coordinate onsite peer review processes.* Plans, conducts, and reviews aspects of assessment, evaluation, and accountability projects and programs related to specialty area.* Provides technical support and training to UNTHSC faculty and staff in the use of assessment management and accreditation management software.* Conducts technical training for users on assessment accountability, and evaluation processes and procedures.* Maintains and ongoing review process to promote continuous improvement in unit planning and assessment.* Maintains records, and prepares and correspondence related to the work.* Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Department.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
