Summary of the Position

The Operations & Records Assistant provides operational support to the international and domestic transfer admission process within the office of Undergraduate Admission. The Operations & Records Assistant enters all data relating to prospective students and applicants interested in Bentley University. The incumbent prepares initial transfer credit evaluation for incoming freshman and transfer students. This data is required for analysis and to communicate to prospective students and applicants to Bentley University. The Operations & Records Assistant works closely with the transfer admission counselors to provide optimal customer service to all Bentley applicants.



Essential Functions

Enter data relating to prospective students and applicants interested in Bentley University via the Banner system, ImageNow, Salesforce and Excel spreadsheets.
Prepare initial transfer credit evaluation for incoming freshman and transfer students.
Interact with applicants, parents, counselors and schools via email, phone and in person; field requests for information; answer general questions about admission requirements and specific inquiries about application completion status.
Facilitate completion of applications by contacting and responding to applicants regarding missing or incomplete documents as well as need for standardized testing.




Preferred Qualifications

Experience using imaging software (such as Image Now), Salesforce, Banner, Workday, SQL, and relationship management software preferred.



Physical Demands

When entering data, accuracy, speed and coordination are necessary. Eye strain may result from working on a computer all day.
