The Department of Psychology offers comprehensive undergraduate degrees in Psychology, serving over 1300 undergraduate majors. Job Description
The Psychology Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Research Analyst I - Grant Coordinator to join our team and support faculty in the research and scholarship functions of their positions.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
* Processing of grants from pre-submission through post award and expenditures.
* Facilitate travel by processing travel requests, advances, and reimbursements.
* Facilitate faculty search related activities; serve as hiring liaison with candidates, set interviews, etc.
* Facilitate faculty merit evaluations collection of documents.
* Support purchasing for grants and department.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, auditing, public administration, or related field and one year professional business administration work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Ability to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to work without close supervision and to schedule tasks in order to meet deadlines in a timely, accurate manner.
* Strong ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
* Knowledge of University policies and procedures related to area of assignment.
* Previous budgeting and purchasing experience.
* Previous grant development and processing procedures experience.
* Ability to work on tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Experience with PeopleSoft.
