Lecturer - Dental Hygiene
The College of Health Science and Public Health at Eastern Washington University invite applications for a Lecturer position in the Department of Dental Hygiene to begin August 2017.
The Department of Dental Hygiene is housed in a state-of-the-art facility located at Eastern's Spokane Campus in Spokane, WA. The department offers the only Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in the state of Washington, an entirely web-based Master of Science in Dental Hygiene, and has a fully online BSDH degree-degree completion program. Opportunity for extramural private practice is available. Position is open until further notice; screening will begin May 15, 2017.

Conditions of EmploymentPlease Note: The required start date for this position will be 8/21/2017. To be considered eligible for appointment into the position, applicants must be available and able to start in the position no later than 8/21/2017.
- Completed Master of Science in Dental Hygiene or closely related discipline;
- Washington State Dental Hygiene licensure or ability to obtain licensure by date of appointment (8/21/2017);
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching;
- Demonstrated high degree of interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency and/or diversity.
- Earned doctorate;
- Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience within the past five years (part time experience will qualify, but will be pro-rated to its full time equivalency);
- Experience in program administration.
