Department Overview
The Strategic Program Manager will serve as an advocate for others and model UNTHSC values: Serve Others First, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Be Visionary.

Under the direction of the Director of Medicaid Waiver Programs, the Strategic Program Manager will assist the team in oversight of the Institution's 1115 Waiver projects. Primary job duties include conducting data analysis and creating reports, facilitating effective consultation support of individual 1115 Waiver projects, and organizing and generating project deliverables at the Institutional level that are required by HHSC.

Position Details
The Department of People Development at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Strategic Program Manager to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Model UNTHSC values and behaviors.
* Manage on-going data analysis.
* Promote diversity of thought, ideas, and people while ensuring all metrics and milestones for DSRIP projects are met within allotted HHSC timeframes.
* Manage project status reports and communicate findings to appropriate levels of the organization.
* Give, ask for, and value feedback from DSRIP Project Leads as well as other Region 10 contacts.
* Identify and assist Medicaid Waiver Program team in scheduling all project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks to ensure reporting and payment to the Institution.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in public health, health management or related field and two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Five years of experience in project/program management in a healthcare or academic environment.
* Two years direct 1115 Medicaid Waiver project management and data monitoring experience.
* Experience working in a clinical setting.
