This position works under general supervision of the Field Services Manager to achieve organized and efficient daily parking and transportation services on campus as well as be a liason for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This position requires extensive knowledge of transportation policies and procedures to make decisions and to provide superior customer service. The UW-Madison campus has 84 surface lots and 14 ramps comprised of 12,600 vehicle parking stalls, 10,000 bicycle parking stalls, and 1800 moped/scooter parking stalls. In addition to the daily commuter needs of 18,000 employees and 43,000 students, this position assists more than 4.5 million visitors annually access the university's resources. Independent problem solving is required to research and apply various transportation policies.
Good public relations skills are imperative due to the volume and flow of customers. Most encounters are friendly in nature, but a few can be stressful and threatening. The ability to maintain positive and professional customer relations in difficult situations is essential. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a high level of customer service to the general public helping to resolve complaints, and work with other operation units within the department to solve transportation issues on campus. This position functions closely with other staff and departments to work as a team, but also requires the ability to work and make decisions independently.

2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 30 min unpaid lunch break.

Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications, with a minimum starting rate of $14.83 an hour.
