Position Summary: The Research Associate will report to the Director of the Center for Medication Optimization through Practice and Policy and have the following responsibilities: Strategic Research Directing and Planning: This includes working with principal investigators, research collaborators, and personnel to design and guide research protocols (e.g., literature reviews, participant management, data collection, data management) across multiple projects. This also includes assisting with the design of technology validation protocols for use by CMOPP clients. Research Execution and Operations: This includes implementing all aspects of the research execution and operations; overseeing Research Operations staff to ensure successful execution of the project, data collection, coordination across sites and stakeholders, and dissemination of best practices and findings internal and external to the project; and serving as a consultant for CMOPP associated faculty, and as an integral part of the CMOPP technology validation team. Scientific contribution: Co-author publications and other communications and co-present study findings at national meetings and conferences. Conduct literature reviews and contribute to the writing of grants.
Education Requirements: A Masters degree in the area of health services research or a related field.
Qualification and Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience working on execution of complex applied research projects, including literature reviews, participant coordination and management, data collection, data management. Preference will be given to candidates who also worked on technology validation as part of their applied research experience. Ability to work independently as part of a team, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to identify and solve problems, flexible, and highly collaborative.
