Assistant Professor - Nursing (R-0129)
Fort Hays State University Department of Nursing, as part of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences (CHBS), is seeking one part-time, nine month nursing faculty for undergraduate studies to commence on August 10, 2017.
Fort Hays State University Department of Nursing serves undergraduate students in a traditional on-campus BSN program and a virtual RN to BSN program. This position will serve in the role of Instructor and will teach a part-time load in the Department of Nursing. The candidate will provide in classroom lecturing, attend undergraduate clinicals and teach online courses.
Minimum qualifications: The candidate must hold a MSN degree. The candidate must have an RN license (Kansas or eligible), If the candidate is a Family Nurse Practitioner, he or she must have an APRN license (Kansas or eligible), national certification, and be eligible to work at a clinical practice site.
1. Experience in Pediatrics and strong communication and interpersonal skills,
2. Strong computer and technology skills
