The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in children and adolescents. Responsibilities include supervision of psychiatry fellows and trainees in other disciplines in the care of patients with eating disorders. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and related Anxiety Disorders. The faculty member will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including child psychiatrists, psychologists, adolescent medicine physicians, and clinical social workers. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board Certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is required.
