Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer
Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the design of electrical control systems for large scale industrial equipment projects. This includes calculations, component selection, panel and enclosure layout, PLC programming and shop start-up. You must be able to prepare layout and design drawings of electrical control systems for industrial production.
The Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer will utilize AUTOCAD Electrical to prepare 2D drawings for electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and Bill of Materials. Successful candidate must have demonstrated familiarity with NEC, UL, NFPA and CE manufacturing standards. Ideal candidate should have a proven record of hands on experience and field commissioning of PLC based control systems for industrial equipment.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience presenting and explaining engineering designs for both current and potential customers. Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of design and project experience.
Must be considered an expert with design and programming of control systems utilizing Allen Bradley PLC's (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and various HMI/SCADA packages.
We are looking for a key individual with proven field commissioning experience and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Ideal candidate would be familiar with control of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
