Sr. Mechanical Engineer (MEP)
Primary responsibility involves design of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for buildings. Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems is secondary but valuable.
Candidate shall have 10 or more years of experience with a consulting engineer or architect/engineer in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
Licensure as a Professional Engineer or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) is mandatory with CT licensure a plus.
Candidate must have an interest in leading on specific projects, both small and large, and be open to eventually managing/representing the entire engineering effort.
Experience with High Performance Building designs, including LEED and other sustainable design criteria, is essential.
The ability to produce construction documents in Autocad is mandatory and Revit experience is highly desirable.
Experience with CT school projects, including School Construction Grant requirements, is important.
The ability to work cohesively in a team setting is extremely important.
Willingness and ability to assume project management responsibilities for mechanical and MEPFP projects.
