Job Description: The Department of Elementary and Middle Grades Education in the College of Education at East Carolina University is seeking applications and nominations for a fixed term, nine-month, full-time faculty position available August 2017. Responsibilities of the position include: Teach K-6 elementary courses in curriculum, language arts methods, and/or classroom management on campus, off campus, and/or online; recruit and advise students; work on collaborative curriculum revisions; and serve on committees. Candidates will supervise practicum experiences and/or internships and provide service to the university, community, and profession. Other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Arts in Education in elementary education, curriculum and instruction, or related field; qualifying degrees must be conferred and received from appropriately accredited institutions, teaching experience in an elementary public school setting; and eligibility for NC teaching licensure.
