Job Summary:

The Office of Admissions and Recruitment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison recruits prospective students locally, nationally, and internationally. Our application review includes 35,000 freshmen and 6,000 transfer applications. In addition, we evaluate 184,000 transfer credits each year for new and continuing students.

This position will perform many of the functions of an Admissions Counselor for the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. The Admissions Representative will contribute to the work of the admissions counseling team by providing administrative support functioning both independently and collaboratively under the direction of the Assistant Director of Application Evaluation and Training. Intensive training will be provided.

Schedule Comment:

Anticipated start date: August 7, 2017.

Must be able to work 20-29 hours per week. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Expectation of 32-40 hours per week (100%) during high volume months of Oct, Nov, Jan and Feb. Occasional night/weekends as needed. Anticipated start date is August 7, 2017. Total maximum hours to be worked are not to exceed 1043 from begin date to end date of appointment.
