The Syncromatics Operations Team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead highly complex technical installations, deployments, and service upgrades for our Integrated Technology Customers. As a lead Project Manager, you'll have the ability to shape the future of transportation, working with our software and hardware engineers to plan and manage innovative solutions for vehicle tracking, passenger counting, audio visual displays, wifi connectivity, automated vehicle monitoring, public wayside signage, and all of the interfaces that allow transportation agencies and the riding public to build, manage, and experience the most efficient transit systems possible.

We're looking for someone great at leading customer satisfaction; an extremely detail oriented, process driven, solutions oriented leader. We want someone whose curiosity will drive new initiatives beyond what is expected. Most of all, we want a proactive manager who will own everything in his or her domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage large-scale custom deployments of Integrated Technology Solutions at Departments of Transportation, Nationwide

• Coordinate with the deployment and software engineering teams to ensure all pre-planning, inventory control, and provisioning work is executed to coincide with installations

• Plan, document, and communicate with all customers as to the scope of work for all projects

• Assist the Business Development team in cost and profitability analyses of all new opportunities

• Design and enforce a policy to ensure the highest standards of quality installation work

• Forge and maintain intimate relationships with on-site operations, dispatch and maintenance teams at client locations

• Oversee third party consultants, designers, and equipment manufacturers to design, build and produce electrical hardware components that will enable more reliable hardware integrations

• Develop short- and long-term strategic initiatives for the Operations Team to support growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year bachelor's degree required

• Master's degree preferred but not necessary; special weight given to engineering, project management, and architecture concentrations

• Minimum 3 years of highly technical, multi-stage project management experience, showing management of cross-functional efforts, tracking, prioritization, and execution

• Top 5% technical communication skills, both written and verbal

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Gantt charts, P&L management required

• Basic AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other engineering design application experience preferred

• The cleanest organizational skills possible

• Experience in transportation hardware, vehicle or aircraft, preferred

• Aerospace, freight, fleet tracking a huge plus

• Experience managing and interfacing with software developers

• A history of driving positive customer service performance preferred
