Job Description

Immediate opening for Superintendent with minimum 3-5 years experience in Interior/Exterior Up-fits, mid and hi-rise buildings, new out of ground commercial facilities, i.e. retail stores, bank branches, multi-story buildings.

Primary responsibility is for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors work. Responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for the implementation of safety programs for the jobsite, supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work.

Help Project Manager review and update progress on cost reports, schedules and requirements for completion on regular basis. Must be able to read blueprints, including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, landscape and civil. Thoroughly understands project specifications, the contract and contract's general conditions and confirms that all materials and subcontractors work comply with the documents and quality specifications.

Ensures that project site and company assets are secure at all times. Run weekly jobsite safety meetings, Attend PM, Owner, Architect jobsite meetings when necessary. Demonstrate solid verbal & written communication skills. Proficiency using tools such as email, internet and Microsoft products. Must fill out necessary paperwork to run jobsite properly and safely.

Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems and motivate others. Able to work in fast paced environment and is adaptable to rapid change. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with different people and personalities. Able to build effective relationships with customer, subcontractors, suppliers that reflect company core values and meet or exceed customer's expectations.
