Position Summary:

NLU is seeking Adjunct instructors for our Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree program which prepares public, non-profit, educational and health care professionals for advancement in their administrative careers. We are seeking Instructors for the following courses: 1) Foundations of Public Administration; 2) Public Policy Analysis; 3) Leadership in Public & Non-Profit Organizations; 4) Administrative Law & Ethics; 5) Public Finance & Budgeting; 6) Public Human Resource Management; and, 7) Program Evaluation.

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree (PhD, DPA, etc.) in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or closely related field; 
or 
Doctoral degree in a related field (PhD, DBA, DM, EdD, etc.) with a master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or closely related field;
or
Juris Doctor degree (JD) with 5 years of related professional experience;
or
Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Urban Planning, or closely related field with five years’ professional or management experience directly related to the teaching assignment (if holding certifications/licensure); or Minimum of ten years’ professional or management experience directly related to the teaching assignment (if not holding certifications/licensure).
