Senior Administrative Associate, Human Resources

The Sr Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the Associate Vice President of Human Resources (Chief HR Officer) and direct reports.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed.

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills are needed.

Required Prior Work Experience:
Experience dealing with a diverse workforce.

Job Duties:
  • ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT Greets visitors and serves as initial contact for anyone coming to HR. Provides administrative support (managing meetings, schedule/calendar and phone calls) for the CHRO and his/her direct reports. Coordinates any travel and meetings, as requested by CHRO and direct reports. Acts as key contact for CHRO and direct reports in coordinating with staff across the college.
  • CENTRAL RECORDS MANAGEMENT Maintains file systems, including official HR Personnel and other confidential HR files in accordance with records retention policy. Makes updates in Banner/People Admin to ensure accuracy and compliance of employee related data.
  • OFFICE MANAGEMENT DUTIES Monitors HR budgets monthly, run reports and performs reconciliations. Works with CHRO to coordinate expense reports and submissions. Works with accounts payable and budget office to process invoices and purchase orders. Inventory management, order equipment and supplies and oversees maintenance of equipment. Assists with HR Coordinator on website development and maintenance. Supervises student workers and coordinates with department managers for student projects. Individual Work Activities
