We are seeking an experienced and resourceful individual to assume the position of HR Director at our company headquarters located in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a key member of the team, the HR Director is expected to own and oversee all parts of the employee life-cycle process within the company, and will be expected to direct and drive all human capital management initiatives of the company in a highly professional and compliant manner.

Assist the executive management team in executing on the company's strategic goals and objectives
Develop and monitor employee performance measures that support the company's strategic vision
Manage and oversee all day-to-day human resource activities within the business
Ensure all employee-related record keeping and reporting activities comply with pertinent local, state and federal standards
Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements- FLSA, DOL, EEOC, FMLA, OSHA, etc.
Oversee the coordination and implementation of all insurance and benefit programs
Uncover, understand, and report all employment and insurance related risks and opportunities to the CEO/President
Implement operational best practices within and between departments
Employ good sound judgment and become a trusted advisor within the company
Successfully develop, implement and communicate the company's employment-related policies, procedures, standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Manage the recruitment process for selected positions from start to finish; schedule and conduct interviews; coach managers through the interview process; conduct reference and background checks; prepare offer letters and manage "on boarding" process of new hires
Provide leadership, advocacy, and creativity in maintaining and improving a strong corporate culture; identify and respond to potential employee relations issues or gaps in company culture
Maintain applicable knowledge and education in regulatory compliance and human capital management

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources or a related field; PHR and SPHR strongly preferred
7+ years of verifiable work experience including 3-4 years functioning at a manager or director level
Strong and verifiable technical human resource management skills
Ability to plan, direct and control the day-to-day human resource activities of a fast-paced, complex operation with limited direction
Willingness and maturity to make difficult managerial decisions
Well versed in implementing and maintaining effective human resource systems
Ability to analyze existing operations and recommend and implement both revised and new policies, procedures and systems
Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach and develop a high performing workforce
Exceptional business knowledge of HR related laws, regulations and practices
Ability to appropriately manage confidential information
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands and multiple projects at a time
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to present reports and results accurately and concisely to the executive management team
Unquestionable business ethics and personal integrity
