University of North Texas - Research Analyst III

The Engineering-Dean's Office Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Research Analyst III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Set up and provide monthly reconciliations for 100 or more externally funded projects.* Review all project expenditures during reconciliations to make sure that they were approved by the Principal Investigator (PI) and College Research Officer (CRO).* identify and investigate any unusual costs that hit the project.* process cost-transfer forms to move unallowable expenditures off the project.* reconcile p-card expenditures processed by Admin Coordinators on monthly bases.* review expense codes entered on p-card purchases and requisitions during reconciliation.* stay up to date with UNT, Sponsor, and Federal policies in regards to externally funded project expenditures.* assist in pre-award functions such as in development of proposal budget and budget justification when needed.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, auditing, public administration, or related field and four years professional business administration work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
