Coordinator, Foundation Donor Database
Maintains the integrity of the alumni/donor information and gift giving; acknowledges donor gifts and tracks gift pledges under supervision of the Director. Prepares gift reports and other fund management reports and assists with advancement projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Gift Processing: Create new records, accurate and timely entry of all gifts, proposals and donor information.
Coordinates regular data clean-up and merging of records within the Department.
Acknowledges donor gifts within three business days of receipt; sends appropriate inserts in letters and tracks special letters as they are processed.
Process all batches to Financial Edge - making sure that funds are correctly coded.
Reconcile system with accountant to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Produces gift reports and other fund management reports on a scheduled basis.
Assures the accuracy of data within Raiser's Edge by utilizing data entry standards and processes to enhance productivity.
Maintain entry of all back-up paperwork into Raiser's Edge using Paper Save.
Maintain paper files and HCC storage procedures for paper files.
Initiates data exports for all mailings, including but not limited to acknowledgements,
renewals, appeals, annual report, events and magazine, etc.
Assist accountant with annual organizational audits - keeping back-up for Gifts in Kind; open pledges and pledge payments, and corporate matching gifts.
Ability to create complex queries, exports and reports using Crystal.

Bachelor's Degree or three (3) to (five) 5 years of experience working with databases.
Experience working with databases is required. Experience working with all modules from Raise's Edge: Membership, Events, NetCommunities, Tribute, and Prospect preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ideal candidate is a seasoned business professional with effective communication, computer, writing, organizational and teamwork skills; possessing a strong work ethic, problem solving and detail-oriented skills and overall flexibility in responding to organizational needs.
Proficient in computer systems, including Raiser's Edge and MS Office.
Proficient in using various software packages in order to compile statistics, develop reports and produce other formal documents.
Must be experienced with business writing standards and proper use of grammar and vocabulary.
Possess ability to organize and manage work efficiently and consistently; and must be able to keep objective and well-organized records.
Must have an understanding of the fundraising process, the principles of donor and prospect management and information analysis.
