Duties: The Operations Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the English Language Programs (ELP) in a wide range of cyclical and ad hoc tasks including: managing facilities and equipment needs; liaising with the Registrar for class needs; managing petty cash and organization purchasing through a ProCard; updating manuals; providing clerical support of teacher scheduling; assisting in staff hiring; supporting marketing and recruitment; scheduling meetings and planned events; preparing minutes of meetings; arranging visits to ELP; and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with three to five years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong candidates will possess administrative experience that includes oversight of organization assets, event planning, data maintenance; demonstrated ability to: organize tasks and set priorities, multi-task competently, take initiative and assume responsibility for multiple functions, handle confidential information; strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills; computer expertise including entire MS Office suite, spreadsheet and database, calendaring software, networked computer environment; able to work accurately under pressure.

Knowledge of Penn systems. Experience communicating with international clients. Experience handling visa applications.
