General Summary: The graduate assistant for athletic training will be responsible for coverage of athletic practices, games, rehabilitation, pre- and post- practice set up and break down and any other responsibility that has to do with the assigned team/school for which they are contracted. Graduate Assistants will play a major role in the clinical learning experience of UNG Athletic Training students as their supervisors in the clinical setting. Job Duties & Responsibilities: The graduate assistant will be responsible for:
  • Athletic coverage for the University or Appointed high school.
  • Medical record keeping for injuries and rehabilitation.
  • Supervision of clinical experience for athletic training students.
  • Rehab and preventative medicine and injury evaluations.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer; Georgia Licensed Athletic Trainer.
