The Senior Specialist serves as an advisor to governing councils of traditional fraternities and sororities and other similar groups. The Senior Specialist develops and coordinates programs and services for chapters and members, with emphasis on recruitment, risk reduction, conduct, leadership and organizational development.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Specialist is expected to engage in outreach efforts to campus and community entities, develop program initiatives, assess programs and services, review and recommend policies related to unit and office functions, and serve as unit and Dean of Students Office representative as assigned.
1. Master's degree.
2. Two (2) years of post-masters, full-time professional fraternity and/or sorority work experience.
3. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
