Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Four (4) years of experience as an athlete and/or coach in a competitive rowing program is preferred, intercollegiate experience is also preferred. Other qualifications include the ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and administrators, faculty, staff and students. The successful applicant must be able to develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions; work well independently and in teams; and be flexible in accepting new responsibilities.
Under the general supervision of the Head Coach, act as an Assistant Coach for the Women's Rowing Program. Primary responsibility is teaching and instructing student-athletes in the fundamentals and techniques of Rowing. Additional areas of responsibility include: On the water coaching, and assisting with all aspects of coaching and developing an extremely competitive Division I program. Video capability and social media skills very important, as well as the ability to contribute to the overall administration of the Women's Rowing Program; practice organization/coaching of novice and/or varsity athletes, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

This is a Limited appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included. Anticipated start date on or after July 1, 2017.
