Description:
The Office of Graduate Admission seeks an experienced recruitment professional to serve in a multifaceted role as both the point person for prospective students interested in a portfolio of programs and as the marketing and communication lead for graduate admissions.
As the marketing and communication lead, this individual will oversee the ongoing development and implementation of a robust multi-channel communication strategy and aid in the development of the overall marketing strategy.
As a member of the Graduate Admission team, this individual will have a key role in determining and evaluating new marketing initiatives and tactics to help meet the College's graduate enrollment goals. This person serves as graduate admission's primary representative when working with enrollment marketing on the development and deployment of our multi-channel communication strategy. Additional responsibilities include; development the deployment of key communication via print, email, social media and other new emerging communication channels and utilizing a thorough understanding of our enrollment lifecycle to continuously seeks out ways to drive conversion at key stages in the process.
In addition, the Sr. Assistant Director is also responsible for maintaining the graduate admissions website content; ensuring that the content is up-to-date, reads well and is consistent with institutional brand standards. Other primary areas of responsibility include application portal updates, admission decision letters, fellowship/scholarship award letters and all other communication for the graduate admission office. The Sr. Assistant Director considers the flow of communication to prospective students and newly admitted students coming from all other office on campus in order to ensure the student experience is seamless and that all communications are well coordinated.
The Sr. Assistant Director is also responsible for seeking out marketing opportunities through industry associations, conferences and other unique channels. Working closely with each graduate admission program liaison this individual will take the lead in researching new opportunities, partnering with central marketing to develop creatives and ultimately measuring the impact of ads placed.
As the primary admission representative and recruiter for select graduate programs this individual will serve as the main point of contact for prospective students throughout the application cycle and partners closely with the Graduate Program Directors on ongoing program updates and the admission review process. Additionally, representing the College at recruitment events domestically and internationally as well as communicate extensively with faculty regarding marketing efforts, enrollment, merit aid, and program updates.

Required Knowledge:
-Bachelors Degree required
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Prior experience within marketing and communications
-Demonstrated project management experience
-Microsoft Office and desktop publishing skills
-Experience using a marketing communication system
-Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
-Marketing and communication experience within a higher education setting -Experience liaising and working with outside departments, vendors, students, and parents. -Slate system experience

Required Prior Work Experience:
- 4-6 years of professional work experience required.
