Job Summary This is responsible administrative and supervisory work in food service management in a large dining commons. Assists in overall operation as manager directs. Assists in planning, organizing and directing Dining Services personnel in food production and services. Holds regular production meetings with production staff. Assists in conducting regular sanitation inspection program. Work is performed under the direction of the Food Operations (Dining) Manager or Dining Commons Manager, and is evaluated through observation and in terms of customer satisfaction. All other related duties as assigned. Activities and decisions are varied in nature, requiring independent action and judgment in solving common problems. Unusual cases or questionable matters are resolved with position's supervisor or other appropriate positions. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with course work in dietetics and restaurant management and experience in a large food service unit; or any combination of training and experience
