About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: The Research Specialist 1 will coordinate the overall day-to-day management of assigned clinical research projects, with the overall goal of developing and supporting the ongoing educational innovations and clinical research for ACGME/NIH funded grants and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Assists with the preparation of grant proposals, renewals, and financial reports. Projects focused on curriculum support, organization of ACGME Pursuing Excellence projects, and assistance in IRB data collection. Prepare data summaries and reports, and analyze data. Perform literature searches.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a field relevant to the research being conducted acquired by start date required.

Unit Experience: One year of relevant research experience preferred. Experience working with community-based organizations and with racially/ethnically diverse populations preferred.
