Job Description: The Director of Recruiting and Admissions is a full-time 12-month position responsible to the dean. The position serves on the Honors College Leadership Team and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for recruiting and admissions in the College. This position works closely with other members of the leadership team to expand the visibility of the college through recruiting and enrollment activities. This position coordinates functions related to admissions and enrollment in the college, including interfacing with faculty and administration in the review, admission, and enrollment of its students, including Discipline Scholars and Early Assurance Programs. The Director actively seeks to implement best practices in recruiting to achieve the college goals for admissions and retention of honors college students. The Director maintains a comprehensive data base of recruiting and admissions data. The Director works closely with University Admissions and other areas of University Enrollment Management to develop and implement effective recruiting and admissions practices. This position works closely with other university offices such as Financial Aid, Advancement, and Admissions to coordinate the scholarship operations for the college. The Director provides direction and support for special events for prospective students and creates and disseminates communications to on-campus and off-campus constituents related to recruitment and admissions. The position collaborates with the Dean and University Advancement to position College recruiting and admissions events as a way to promote and advance the honors college. The Director represents the college at campus and community functions and promotes and develops collaborative relationships with current and prospective partners. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Dean.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in recruitment, admissions, or marketing in a higher education setting.
