General Summary Provide administrative management, development, and project leadership for initiatives in the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the preparation of special projects, proposals, vendor contracts, needs projections, assessment, analysis and research regarding initiatives.

Review policies and procedures and make recommendations for revisions to improve divisional effectiveness.

Provide leadership and coordination for special divisional assignments, planning initiatives, and projects, including making recommendations regarding appropriate staffing for team composition, and creating project plans.

Collect relevant data, coordinate and prepare divisional reports.

Serve as liaison to the Board of Regents' Office, and meeting coordinator for Committees of the Board of Regents that are overseen by the Provost.

Manage regular divisional communications with students, faculty, staff and community members across multiple platforms and venues for these messages. Manage and facilitate the routine updating of the divisional website.

Act on behalf of the Provost and assist with coordinating instructional staff, and Student and Academic Affairs Administrators, pertaining to their participation in divisional ceremonies and events such as faculty and staff awards, graduation ceremonies, emeritus faculty events, and special cultivation events for alumni and friends.
Attend and represent the Provost's Office at university and divisional meetings, events, and committees as assigned.

Coordinate staffing planning within the Division with Human Resources offices. Assist in the selection and evaluation of office staff. Coordinate completion of annual performance evaluations and compensation adjustments for Divisional staff.

Perform related departmental duties as required. Supplemental Information: ECLS: AP
GRADE: CDEA2 Qualifications: Knowledge of business operations and administration, typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related area, or any equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary. A Master's degree is preferred.

Five years' administrative experience in a higher education or corporate setting is necessary.

Excellent interpersonal, communications, research and writing skills are necessary.

Working knowledge of computer systems and applications is necessary.

Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is desirable.
