McCollister's Transportation, a leader in the transportation industry, specializing in the storage and transportation of high-value products, is seeking a Director of Customer Service to work at our Burlington, NJ headquarters.
JOB SUMMARY: Primary function is to train, coach, direct, organize and manage the customer service staff to successfully meet the goals of the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain targeted Sales goal in dollar volumes by retaining and growing current business of existing McCollister's accounts and increase customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include development of new business opportunities. New business opportunities will be developed by electronic and telemarketing efforts to secure new quotation opportunities. Complete all job responsibilities in conjunction with McCollister's sales standards for job performance set by management and upgrade skills through training, both on the job and outside work.
-Assume overall accountability for the maintenance of assigned customers
-Promptly respond to and provide quotations for all service requests
-Maintain optimum communications with assigned accounts
-Utilization of McCollister's Registration System
-Register orders for service
-Provide customers with current information on service/pricing features and relay benefits to those customers
-Advise customers about industry trends, innovations, or changes and the potential effects on those customers
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Director of Customer Service should possess previous customer service management experience in the Moving and Storage industry.
- PC Skills, Excel, Word, Outlook, order processing or related software
- Desire to succeed or obtain personal and professional goals
- Familiarity with database software for client and time management
- Attend weekly management meetings
- Internal and External growth training to personal development goals
All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
