Bruce Tromberg, Ph.D. is recruiting for a training fellowship in Biomedical Optics Medical Device Development for Cancer Detection. Responsibilities include developing non-invasive optical devices for research and clinical studies in breast cancer. We seek individuals with expertise in optical technologies using semiconductor lasers, optical fibers, computers, and solid-state detectors. Knowledge of electronics, rf techniques, and software control of instrumentation is desirable.
Candidates must have the ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting. All appointments are for one year with the potential for extension dependent upon performance and funding. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
