Position Summary: This is a lecturer position in the field of biology with specialization in biochemistry and anatomy and physiology. Opportunities to teach range from the General Education level, to upper division students and graduate courses. It is a 12 month appointment with a workload of 30 credits. Up to six credits are to be directed to establishing a pre-health profession advising program.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience of 1 - 2 years at the college/university undergraduate level in the field of Biology. Expertise in Anatomy and Physiology and an ability to teach Biochemistry. Experience and/or interest in pre-health profession advising.

Work Schedule: The person chosen this position will be on a 12 month appointment with a workload of 30 credits. The selected individual will be expected to teach courses in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. It is anticipated that 3 - 6 credits will be allocated for service to the university in the capacity of developing a pre-health profession advising program.
