The Department of Otolaryngology is searching for a basic science research faculty member to join its growing and collaborative department. This is a full time position and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. This position will be responsible for further developing the basic and translational sciences program in the department. This position will be expected to develop collaborations within the department, school, and work to heighten the profile of the department's research standing on a national basis. The ideal candidate would have a strong track record in the field of auditory sciences.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Completion of an MD or a PhD from an accredited institution of higher education
- Five years of relevant research experience
- Translational and basic science experience
- Proven track record of funding and publications
- Strong leadership skills to assist with growth of division
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to deliver presentations to the community and at national meetings
