Career Services & Professional Development Office (CDO) Coordinator

Job Description Summary:
The Office of Career Services & Professional Development is seeking a detail-oriented individual interested in a career in higher education. The ideal candidate will be a flexible self-starter who is capable of working in student and administrative services while providing office support; interacting effectively with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty, staff, and alumni; and initiating and completing multiple assignments and projects successfully.

Specific Duties:
  • Effectively and efficiently manage a high volume of telephone calls and in-person inquiries regarding CDO and Externship programming, procedures and participation requirements; Manage job and Externship database; Oversee office calendars; Manage and proofread student application materials, emails and office publications; Special project and event coordination; Work occasional nights and weekends; Make travel arrangements; Maintain Career Services and Externship files; Create and market CDO flyers, and edit spreadsheets; Order Supplies; Attend department and school-wide meetings


Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year of administrative and customer service experience; Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, data processing, and file management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Work experience in law school or higher education preferred
