Assistant Clinical Professor/Online BSW Coordinator, Social Work - 603140

Northern Arizona University’s Social Work Program invites applications for an Assistant Clinical Professor with NAU’s CSWE accredited BSW Program to begin August 2017. This Assistant Clinical Professor position is an eleven-month, non-tenure track position with responsibilities that include coordinating our online BSW option, teaching three undergraduate social work courses per semester (including summer), ability to develop online curriculum, mentoring students and part-time faculty, and service activities. The successful candidate will actively collaborate with the Field Director, advising staff, Program Director, and other department faculty/staff. The position is a one academic year contract with opportunity for renewal beyond 2017 - 2018 contingent upon effective performance, the continued availability of funds, and program needs. Start date is August 2017.

Minimum Qualifications: MSW degree from a CSWE accredited Social Work Program. Successful university teaching experience, as demonstrated by course evaluations or annual reviews. Knowledge of online technologies demonstrated by prior use/experience. And four years post-MSW practice experience.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.
