Job description

Duties: This position will support the management of two research projects, 1) a K02 study, 'Comparative Effectiveness of Interventions for Depression in the Community' and , 2) a R34 study, 'Feasibility of a Behavioral Activation Trial in Community Mental Health'. Under the guidance of the Principal Investigators (PI), the Clinical Research Coordinator A (CRC-A) will carry out research activities including recruitment, consenting participants, management of study materials, including IRB submissions, and preliminary data management and data analysis.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in psychology, public health or social sciences with 1-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience in a research environment or conducting clinical assessments is preferred. The candidate should be proficient computer programs including MS Office and SPSS and maintaining databases. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential. He/She should be comfortable doing a variety of tasks, be able to balance multiple commitments, and be comfortable communicating to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently and with a team.
