Job Summary: The College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applications and nominations for a full-time non-tenure track, extramurally funded (subject to contract funding) faculty position in the Workplace Health Group, Department of Health Promotion and Behavior. The College of Public Health promotes health in human populations through innovative research, exemplary education, and engaged service dedicated to preventing disease and injury within the state and around the world. Candidates should have experience in behavioral and environmental interventions and translating programs particularly as they apply to public health prevention interventions conducted in the workplace. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have an advanced degree (PhD or DrPh) in health promotion, health behavior, public health. Candidates who are ABD, but will graduate by December 31, 2017 will be considered. Candidates must have at least five years experience securing and managing large NIH grant projects and working with planning, implementation and evaluation of workplace interventions that prevent chronic diseases particularly diabetes and/or obesity.
