Required Qualifications
Hiring managers will review each application and submitted support documents to score each applicant based on required qualifications in a hiring matrix.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, advertising, communication studies, public relations, marketing, psychology, sociology or related fields.

Evidence of public speaking/presentation experience.

Evidence of customer/client service experience.

Marketing/Sales experience with emphasis on social networking.

Experience with social media tools, i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. (Must list software on application and/or resume.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of an electronic calendaring system. (Must list software on application and/or resume.)

Must be able to transport equipment and materials as needed for presentations and employer recruiting events. (approx. 50 lbs.)

Must be able to handle fast-paced and deadline-oriented situations.

Must be able to maintain focus in a multi-tasking environment.

Direct experience in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a program or project.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience establishing and maintaining employer relations for talent acquisitions purposes.

Master's degree in Student Affairs or related fields.

Experience in a career services office or University/College Relations setting.

Direct experience working with college age population.

Experience in a public or private University setting.

Experience and/or knowledge of basic web coding, content management systems, Guidebook, Handshake interfase.

Ability to gather and compile statistical data.

Demonstrated effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Description
Provide employer outreach and support especially in the areas of full-time and internship employment, career fairs, and on-campus recruiting. Market Career Services programs to employers and students. Assist with the coordinating and marketing of all recruiting activity with employers regarding interview schedules, information sessions, room and catering requests, processing resume referrals and approving employer contact profiles and full-time position postings in the department's jobs database, Jobs4Cats. Produce reports and offer instructions and tutorials to students and employers end users of our services.

Job Duties
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate employers. Educate and train employers on utilizing Jobs4Cats, posting jobs, interview schedules, and registering for career events.

Provide direction to employers regarding recruiting strategies and activities, including presentations, career development workshops, class presentations, meetings with students and faculty, catering details, and other recruitment initiatives. Assist employers with scheduling on campus recruiting events, reserving equipment, and troubleshoot any problems or concerns that may arise. Assess and process all requests for employer resume referrals, on campus interview schedules, and recruitment activities via Jobs4Cats.

Create innovative methods and oversee/implement existing methods of marketing On Campus Recruiting and Career Services to employers, students, student organizations, faculty, etc., to increase the number of employers on campus and ensure full interview schedules.

Develop and support class and student organization presentations, training sessions and workshops regarding career development topics, job search information, and available services through the department, as needed.

Assist with career fairs/events, workshops, and participate in the review and evaluation of the Career Services web site and Jobs4Cats. Market all services provided by Career Services.

Hire, train, supervise, and appraise interns and student workers assigned area. Delegate tasks by explaining details or making a duty list. Oversee special projects and adhere to deadline dates.

Verify that employers recruiting students and alumni meet Equal Employment Opportunity and National Association of Colleges and Employers principles and ethics.

Collect and generate reports and statistical information pertaining to employer-related data and information for staff and administration.

Participate in campus committees and teams.

Complete other duties as assigned.
