Position Summary	
The Assistant-Coach Intern reports to the Head Coach of the respective sport and may have a second report relative to an assigned secondary duty. The primary tasks are to assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including: plan practices and game strategies; game day responsibilities; and recruiting qualified student-athletes in concert with the academic mission of the University. In addition, a secondary responsibility will be assigned that could include: game management, intramural and club sports, facilities management, or strength & conditioning.

Required Qualifications	
Minimum Bachelors Degree. Desire to pursue coaching as a career is expected. Coaching or playing experience in the specific sport is desired. A valid drivers license is required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Evidence of positive attitude and the ability to get along well with others required. Excellent speaking and writing skills necessary, as well as the ability to be a well-organized self-starter.

Minimum of 3-5 years of football coaching experience, preferably at the college level.

Physical Demand
Must have the energy and enthusiasm and mobility to actively coach field sports.
