*This position is open to internal candidates at the University of North Texas.*The VP Research & Innovation Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Administrative Associate I to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:* Thorough knowledge of MS Office* Ability to work under considerable pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others* Ability to keep complex records; to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats* Strong ability to work independently and make decisions within the framework of broad goals and objectives* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively* Strong ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness
