Trainer, Professional Development (#20465) UP

Position Summary  
Utilizes professional level skills to accomplish assignments within an area of functional specialty. Develops and delivers training for Lone Star College faculty and staff employing various delivery formats.  Works with a cross-disciplinary team of instructional designers, subject matter experts, technologists and Professional Development Committee members to development and create training sessions and series to achieve strategic goals. In addition to employee training, this position will manage the employee wellness program. 
Job Functions  
Utilizes education, knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts to perform duties of the position.
Designs and develops courses in compliance with LSCS standards and standard learning outcomes.
Provides expert, one-on-one and small group consultation regarding course development, classroom enhanced technologies.
Works with team of designers, subject matter experts and technologists on course development projects.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of learning technologies and best practices. 
Provides training, instruction, and ongoing support to different department positions as needed.
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications  
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3 years of related work experience

Hiring Salary is $42,169
