Assistant Professor Health Programs
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), College of Osteopathic Medicine is looking for an Assistant Professor in Health Programs (HP). Applicants need board eligibility or certification and must qualify for licensure in the State of Michigan. Position will include clinical setting, teaching PMR Residents, research, and Outreach/Service. Other general duties will include: Weekend call will include supervision of PM&R Residents on the inpatient floor, consults and possibly EMGs. Staffing consults on the inpatient floor and/or in a subacute rehab setting 2 half days per week with an average of 3-5 consults per half day. This will also include inpatient EMGs. Participationin PM&R resident didactics to include approximately 4 presentations per year.Required Degree

A doctorate degree. Board eligibility or certification; must quality for licensure in the State of Michigan.
During 1st year of appointment, applicants will be subject to a training component at a .4 FTE. During this training period, applicants will not be eligible to receive a Health Services Related Component (HSRC) Incentive pay.Desired Qualifications
