Position Summary

The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics & Human Development seeks investigators in the study of human genomics. These positions are part of the Global Impact Initiative. Areas of interest particular to these positions include the roles of genomics and epigenetics in developmental biology and pediatric diseases and conditions. These positions will be based at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine's Grand Rapids and Lansing campuses.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of researchers at several Michigan State University campuses, and with investigators at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Spectrum Health, and the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, Sparrow Children's Center in Lansing, and Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint. Potential MSU collaborators include investigators in the College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics & Human Development and Department of Translational Science and Molecular Medicine; the College of Osteopathic Medicine Department of Neurology and Department of Genetics; the College of Education Department of Educational Physiology; the College of Social Sciences Department of Human Development and Family Studies and Department of Psychology; the College of Natural Sciences Department of Genetics and Department of Neuroscience; and the new Institute for Quantitative Health Sciences and Engineering in Lansing.

Minimum Qualifications

Only candidates holding an MD, DO, and/or PhD in a relevant field will be eligible for consideration. Physician candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible, and all candidates must be eligible for appointment in a tenured or tenure-track position in the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
