Duties: Develop, implement and maintain high-quality pipelines for the analysis of large quantities of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Develop statistical methods for other biomedical data, and perform analysis and QC measures. Provide reports and tabular/graphic summaries of analyses in a form suitable for inclusion in manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed scientific journals as well as for presentation at scientific meetings. Write scripts to integrate data from multiple resources for data analysis and comparison. Assist in the design, development and maintenance of technical protocols.
Qualifications: Master's degree in biomedical domains with three years of experience working in high-throughput genomics data analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
In-depth knowledge of NGS data analysis, statistics, and genetics.
Ample experience with Linux/Unix scripting, and coding in Python, Java, Perl, R etc.
High-level report writing and presentation skills.
Work to targets both independently and within a team environment.
