Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Residential Life serves as a member of the professional staff and shares in the leadership, support, assistance to residential life staff, and works closely with the Associate Dean of Students. The Assistant Director supervises four full-time Area Coordinators (administrators) including fifty-one Resident Assistants (RAs) and a residential community of approximately 2200 residents. The Assistant Director manages the day-to-day operations within Residential Life. Further, the Assistant Director provides leadership, support and direction in the recruitment, selection, training, supervision and evaluation of both professionals and para-professional staff members. The Assistant Director works closely with the Associate Dean to implement the overall philosophy, programming model, vision and strategic plan for Skidmore's residential life program.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling or related field.

Pay Range: $57,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience
