Required Qualifications: MD/DO degree. Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications: Research experience and interest in developing a research program.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will be responsible for development of research programs, teaching, and participating in patient care programs appropriate to a major University. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence, education, patient safety and collaboration.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. To qualify for appointment as an Associate Professor, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine ( School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ).
