The University of San Diego School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant or Advanced Assistant Professor with the marketing faculty starting September 2018. Rank will be based on qualifications and experience.

The University of San Diego is an independent private institution that retains its Roman Catholic identity. The School of Business (http://www.sandiego.edu/business) is AACSB accredited and offers several bachelor's degrees, MBA degrees, and specialized master's degrees. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are highly ranked; for example, the MBA program is ranked in the top 30 domestically and the top 60 internationally in the 2016 Financial Times rankings. The School has developed an active and successful research environment while encouraging excellence in teaching.

For an assistant professor, we are looking for applicants with
- An earned doctorate (PhD or DBA) in marketing from an AACSB (or EQUIS) accredited institution or anticipation of an earned doctorate by September 2018.
- Evidence of scholarly potential for publishing quality research in recognized, peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in teaching, and flexibility for teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses.
- An interest and ability to teach digital marketing or consumer behavior. (Preference will be given to candidates with the ability and desire to teach digital marketing.)
- The ability to participate and engage in our collegial environment.

For an advanced assistant professor, we are looking for applicants with
- An earned doctorate (PhD or DBA) in marketing from an AACSB (or EQUIS) accredited institution and 3–4 years of academic experience as a tenure-track faculty member.
- Evidence of a strong and continuing research program.
- Evidence of excellent teaching with a demonstrated flexibility for teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses.
- An interest and ability to teach digital marketing or consumer behavior. (Preference will be given to candidates with the ability and desire to teach digital marketing.)
- An interest in collaborating with fellow faculty.	
- The ability to participate and engage in our collegial environment.

We will be selectively interviewing at the 2017 Summer AMA Conference and during Fall 2017.
